An unforgettable night: Irama’s first concert at San Siro

A decade-long journey that culminated in an unforgettable celebration. All in one night—and what a night it was. We’re talking about the experience Filippo Maria Fanti, known by his stage name Irama, had yesterday, Thursday, June 11, 2026, in Milan. Not just any venue, but the temple of music: San Siro Stadium. A grand celebration of his first ten years as an artist, conceived as a journey through all the facets of his music and his evolution. From the lofty grandeur of the stadium, the artist kicked off a unique show that marked a milestone in his career. Already studded with successes, thanks to 55 Platinum albums, numerous appearances at Sanremo, and hits that have remained in the memories of thousands of fans.

An artist capable of traversing different musical worlds while always maintaining a personal, intense, and instantly recognizable style, but also a performer capable of transforming every concert into a total emotional and visual experience. This was the case at San Siro, where Irama and his team put together one of the most ambitious productions ever created for one of his live shows. The creative direction of the show, led by Giuseppe Greco and Ignazio Pisano’s Intera Musica management, was entrusted to Vanta Studio, a creative collective that develops concepts, artistic direction, and communication strategies in the fields of music, design, and art.

Dominating the stage was a gigantic Gothic rose window with a diameter of about 10 meters, entirely covered in video screens and designed to serve as the visual centerpiece of the entire show. For each song, dedicated content and animations were created and synchronized with the LED walls, transforming the set design into a living, ever-evolving narrative element. Irama observed this from above, as we mentioned, making a surprise appearance from San Siro’s new panoramic balcony, the San Siro Skywalk, becoming the first artist to use this space during a stadium concert. From there, he performed a celebratory version of “Tu no,” engaging the audience in the chorus before disappearing from view, only to reappear moments later behind the main set for his actual entrance onto the stage.

Another eye-catching feature was a long catwalk with a circular end, one of the most technologically innovative elements of the entire production, with a surface composed of high-definition, walkable LED walls that transformed the stage into a true narrative extension of the live performance. This was made possible by Zactrack technology, which tracked all of Irama’s movements, generating interactive effects on the floor—which lit up, changed shape, and created a continuous dialogue between the artist, the music, and the visuals.

A spectacular show featuring a variety of special effects, including dramatic use of flames, smoke, and cascades of sparks projected from above, creating some of the most visually stunning moments of the entire performance. But there were also special glow bracelets distributed to the audience, transforming the pit into a sea of glowing fans, which made the scene even more exciting.

Set to the rhythm of some of Irama’s best-known songs. From the hits that marked his rise to fame to his most recent tracks from the album “Antologia della vita e della morte.” From “Ovunque sarai” to “Nera,” from “La genesi del tuo colore” to “Lentamente,” including “Mediterranea,” “Arrogante,” and “Tu no,” the concert showcased every nuance of his artistic identity. Also featured was “Cabana,” the new single that celebrates nights to be lived to the fullest, filled with music, attraction, and the desire to let go. Plus, several top-tier guests including Annalisa, Arisa, Giorgia, and Rkomi. Witnesses to a night made even more special, one that, we’re sure, Irama will never forget. A night that’s just a starting point, since among the singer-songwriter’s upcoming commitments—in addition to his new role as a judge on X Factor—is a return to live performances in arenas starting this December with his new tour “A chi ci sarà sempre,” also produced by Vivo Concerti, conceived as a new chapter to share with the audience that has accompanied him throughout his ten-year career.
