From Los Angeles to Tokyo, from Rio to Rome. Twenty-five years have passed since, for the first time on movie screens, a franchise beloved by millions of viewers worldwide took the stage: we are talking about Fast & Furious. And that film series, yesterday, Wednesday, May 13, 2026, sped faster than a bolide on the red carpet in Cannes, the scene of the celebration of this prestigious anniversary. From Jordana Brewster to Michelle Rodriguez, on the Croisette to take center stage was above all Vin Diesel, the main protagonist of the saga along with the late Paul Walker.
For the occasion, the actor wore a total black outfit: slightly unbuttoned black shirt, tailored jacket and softly cut pants, complemented by shiny black leather shoes. Catching the eye is the detail on the back of the jacket: a drawing of a car accompanied by the words “Fast Forever,” made with a myriad of sparkling rhinestones that illuminate the look. An iconic and scenic nod to the film series and the “family,” reunited in part in Cannes last night.
