In these days of Paris Fashion Week, it is impossible not to notice her: Tyla, the South African singer who has won over international audiences with her music and unmistakable aesthetic. Between fashion shows, front rows and appearances on the streets of the French capital, the artist is also confirming herself as one of the most interesting presences from the fashion point of view. Her style, it is now clear ,is a real ode to the purest, playful and nostalgic Y2K style, and Tyla never misses an opportunity to reinterpret it with a personal touch.
After her appearance at the Jean Paul Gaultier by Duran Lantink show, the singer was spotted on the streets of Paris sporting a look that is perfectly in line with her aesthetic and seems straight out of the early 2000s, but reinterpreted with contemporary energy.
For the occasion, in fact, Tyla wore a coordinated outfit consisting of a crop top with yellow, red and blue bands and military green sleeves. The same military green returned in the cropped pants, one of the iconic pieces of 2000s fashion, paired with aquamarine heeled sandals that added an additional pop to the look. Completing the outfit is a Gucci signature handbag.
For the singer’s fans, meanwhile, good news is also coming. By the end of the year, in fact, there might be a chance to see her live in Italy as well: in fact, Tyla will be a special guest at Travis Scott’s concert on July 17, 2026 at the RCF Arena in Reggio Emilia, where she will bring all her energy and style in front of the Italian audience as well.
