The third season of *The Gentlemen* is official: the series has been renewed

Get ready to reunite with Eddie Horniman, Susie Glass, and many others. Why? Because *The Gentlemen 3* has been officially renewed. This was reported by *Variety*, as well as by Netflix on Tudum, which confirmed the official greenlight for the now-imminent third season of the series led by Guy Ritchie. Combining action with a foray into high society, Theo James and Kaya Scodelario are reportedly set to reprise their roles for the eight episodes planned for the new season. The website explains, however, that although the new season is in pre-production, the scripts have not yet been finalized.

“The scope of ‘The Gentlemen’ has grown, the world has expanded, and the consequences carry considerable weight. A third season seemed inevitable, and I can’t wait to push the boundaries of the series even further,” Guy Ritchie, the series’ mastermind, told Variety.

There is curiosity, but also excitement among the series’ many fans. Curiosity because, as we mentioned earlier, nothing specific has been finalized yet. In addition to the still-unfinished script, there is no news about the cast or any potential developments. This is also because the series has garnered even more global attention in recent days. The credit (or blame) goes to the rumor that has spread like wildfire around the world regarding a likely “royal” newcomer. We’re talking about Meghan Markle, so when news broke of her return to England with Prince Harry and the family following the 2020 “Megxit,” many took it for granted that she would be making a comeback as an actress—specifically in Guy Ritchie’s series. The news reportedly died down, some say, because the production team faced backlash over the decision to cast her. But nothing is official yet—just rumors. That’s why the right thing to do right now is simple. First, wait for the second season—whose trailer was released just a few hours ago—and, above all, wait for official word on what exciting new developments might be in the works.
