Some anniversaries are celebrated by looking back at the past, while others become an opportunity to redefine the future. For THE ATTICO, its tenth-anniversary milestone coincides with a moment of deep reflection on its identity—an exercise in self-awareness that takes shape in the FW26 collection and transforms the very concept of heritage into something vibrant, contemporary, and constantly evolving. Founded in 2016 by Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini, the fashion house has built a distinct and recognizable aesthetic, characterized by spontaneous glamour, instinctive sensuality, and a femininity that defies any single definition. Today, a decade later, that aesthetic has been enriched with new nuances and looks back on its roots with a mature perspective.
As the two founders explain, this anniversary has above all been an opportunity to reflect on the brand’s origins and on what continues to shape its vision. This reflection inevitably leads back to Italy—an identity that, even within THE ATTICO’s international scope, emerges with ever-greater strength and authenticity. “We naturally looked back on our achievements, but above all, we asked ourselves about our origins and what shapes—and has shaped—our vision of clothing, style, and self-expression. Even as citizens of the world, we cannot deny our Italian identity and personality.”
The woman envisioned for Fall-Winter 2026 is deeply contemporary yet carries with her a distinct cultural heritage. Her wardrobe is born of instinct, of observing the women who came before her, and of that quintessentially Italian balance between rigor and ease, tailored construction and softness, precision and sensuality. There is no nostalgia in this narrative: the past is not replicated, but reinterpreted through a new sensibility.
Subtle lingerie, lace details, menswear-inspired tailoring, distressed denim, and the debut of the down jacket come together in a layered and personal wardrobe. Silhouettes are transformed through carefully considered layering; dresses flow naturally over the body, while decorative and functional zippers create new lines on the figure. Scarf-style hems introduce movement and lightness, while the bomber jacket—one of the brand’s signature pieces—is reinterpreted in structured fabrics and luxurious curly Mongolian wool.
The richness of the collection is most evident in the materials. Leather, wool, denim, jersey, satin, and lace come together in a tactile composition that lends depth to the looks, within a refined palette of neutral and understated tones punctuated by bolder accents. It is a femininity that does not seek immediate impact, but rather captivates through details, proportions, and attitude.
Accessories are also part of this evolution. The Cheope collection expands its range by introducing flip-flops and sculptural ankle boots for the first time, extending the architectural character of the iconic heel into new interpretations. La Passeggiata continues its journey with versions in treated denim and distressed finishes, while new two-tone crocodile-effect textures emphasize its distinctive character. At the same time, Floor 01 consolidates its hybrid nature, straddling technical functionality and urban everyday life.
Ten years after its founding, THE ATTICO feels no need to look back on its past to celebrate what has been. Instead, it prefers to take a close look at what has made it unique: a vision of Italian femininity built on contrasts, intuition, and freedom. FW26 thus becomes much more than an anniversary collection. It is a statement of identity, the story of a journey that continues to evolve without losing touch with its origins, demonstrating that the most interesting way to celebrate the past is to transform it into something deeply contemporary.
