If the fashion world has now fully embraced pets as true style icons, soccer couldn’t be left behind. After all, the “Dogue” era—Vogue’s fashion-forward celebration of dogs—clearly illustrates just how deeply the animal world has now entered the fashion sphere: from street style to photo shoots featuring designer clothing and accessories, right down to magazine covers dedicated entirely to our four-legged friends.
It is against this backdrop that adidas Originals’ new initiative takes center stage, bringing soccer apparel directly to pets. For the 2026–27 season, the brand is introducing the FC Collection for Pets, a collection that transforms the official uniforms of some of the world’s top international clubs into versions designed for dogs and cats. Featured teams include Real Madrid, Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Benfica, Bayern Munich, and Club América. The jerseys feature the distinctive elements of the official kits—from the team crests to the iconic Three Stripes and sponsor logos—but are reimagined in proportions suited for pets and crafted from lightweight, breathable materials.
The result is a sort of miniature version of the classic game kit, designed to turn even your pet into a little match-day fan. And it’s not just about jerseys: the collection extends to a full-fledged sports wardrobe for pets, featuring graphic T-shirts, track jackets, adjustable collars, and matching leashes. This trend reflects a phenomenon that’s becoming increasingly evident: pets have become an integral part of their owners’ lifestyles and identities, and the fashion industry is beginning to treat them as a distinct consumer category. It’s no coincidence that even the big names in luxury have turned their pets into stars of campaigns, photo shoots, and editorial content—the most striking example being *Vogue*, which, with a playful pun, has dedicated a series of editorials specifically to celebrities’ little friends.
With the FC Collection for Pets, adidas applies the same concept to the world of sportswear: the relationship between fans and their team becomes a family affair—or, rather, a pack affair. Because if match day is a shared ritual, it seems the look should be, too.
The collection is available globally through adidas.com, the official adidas app, and select adidas stores.
