For one night Seville was transformed into a huge open-air spectacle. Reflected lights on the Guadalquivir, fireworks over the city’s bridges, and thousands of people gathered along the river provided the backdrop for the event organized by Netflix to present Berlin and the Lady with an Ermine, the new series set in the universe of The House of Paper, of which the platform is beginning to unveil the first previews just in the last few hours.
Among the most anticipated guests of the evening was Rosalía, who arrived in Seville fresh from the huge European success of her LUX tour. The singer closed the European leg with the London date last May 6 and is now preparing to take the show to North America, after months of sold-out concerts and performances that have gone viral online.

But even before she performed, Rosalía conquered the red carpet with an all-white, romantic and very light look: a strapless dress in soft cotton, with a wide skirt decorated with lace inserts and a delicate bustier marked by a small bow on the neckline. On her feet, white ballet flats.
As the city lights dimmed and the Guadalquivir became the centerpiece of the show, it was time for the performance: Rosalía appeared on a floating stage slowly emerging in the middle of the river as the audience lit up both banks with their phones turned on. For the performance, the singer chose a long white gown by designer Ilya Migmoon with a flowing, theatrical silhouette, cone-shaped cups, soft draping on the skirt and a sculptural back with a train and angel wings appliqué. Under the lights reflected on the water, the look seemed to merge with the city’s nightscape.

The performance was constructed as an integral part of the show organized by Netflix, closer to a movie scene than a traditional concert. Amidst audience choruses, light effects and fireworks, singing only two songs and with seven minutes of show time, Rosalía transformed the Guadalquivir into a gigantic auditorium on the water, giving Seville a truly spectacular moment.
