On the Italian night that has just ended-between May 4 and 5, 2026-as every first Monday in May, this year again at the Metropolitan Museum of Art the highly anticipated Met Gala came to life. A red carpet studded with leading names of the international star system on which all the spotlights were shining and which was able as per tradition to catalyze the attention of the whole world on itself.
Among those who decided to skip the red carpet by choosing to take part in the evening directly from inside the museum were, however, Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan who, albeit with a more discreet appearance, thus took part in the Met Ball for the first time.
For the couple’s debut at the event whose theme, for this year, was “Fashion is Art,” the two sported elegant but completely balanced looks, without excess. The Facebook founder, for the occasion, wore a classic tuxedo with a black bow tie over a white shirt, while his wife Priscilla opted instead for a bright red flounced dress with a high neck and long sleeves. The only accessory was a gold-colored jeweled clutch bag.
Married since 2012, the two had already taken part in prominent fashion-related events in recent months, attending Milan Fashion Week at which they did not miss an appearance in the front row for the Prada show.
