Jay-Z’s 30th career anniversary celebrations continue with two new special dates. Following his performance at the Roots Picnic in Philadelphia earlier this month and the three previously announced concerts at Yankee Stadium, Jay-Z and Roc Nation have unveiled two new shows titled “Jay-Z 30,” to be held on September 10, 2026 in Paris and October 23, 2026 in Los Angeles.
The concerts are part of a series of events designed to celebrate three decades of success by one of contemporary music’s most influential artists, and, at least according to what fans believe, the project will retrace the milestones of his career, from his beginnings in the New York hip-hop scene to his consecration as a global music and business icon.
The scheduled shows at Yankee Stadium will instead be dedicated to the anniversaries of two seminal albums in his discography: Reasonable Doubt, the record that marked his official debut, and The Blueprint, considered by many to be one of the most important works in hip hop history. Both projects helped define his style and artistic legacy, influencing entire generations of rappers.
In contrast, the performance at the Roots Picnic in Philadelphia offered a broader retrospective of his career, with a set list that spanned different periods of his musical output and a strong homage to the culture of the festival’s host city. For the occasion, Jay-Z was accompanied by The Roots, already at his side during the famous MTV Unplugged 2.0 concert in 2001. The show also featured many special guests, including Jazmine Sullivan, Bilal, Freeway, and Beanie Sigel.
With new dates in Paris and Los Angeles, “Jay-Z 30” is thus preparing to become one of the most anticipated music events of 2026, offering fans a chance to look back on 30 years of hits, collaborations, and moments that have shaped hip hop history.
