Handles: When Art Is in the Details

Door handles are one of those details we often overlook, yet they’re found in every room. They open doors, furniture, and cabinets, but they’re not just functional elements: like many everyday objects, a handle can also reflect a particular taste, an era, and a way of understanding the object and the space being designed.

There are handles with clean, simple lines, as well as highly decorative ones: minimalist designs, Art Deco motifs, references to magical creatures, the plant world, or marine life, and shapes carved from bronze, wood, stone, or metal.

These are details we encounter every day, almost without noticing them, but which help give a space its character. Because, in the end, it’s precisely in the little things that we recognize attention to detail, aesthetic sensibility, and care.
