The odd couple? But no. The one formed by Leonardo DiCaprio and Sean Penn is a well-matched pair, which also contributed to the success of one film in particular: “One Battle After Another,” a film that won no less than six Oscars in the last edition, including the one for best supporting actor to Penn himself. Well, the two have reunited, but this time not for set reasons nor even for a red carpet, but for an equally important occasion: the Los Angeles Lakers’ NBA game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Unfortunately, the home team, at the Crypto.com Arena, did not triumph and was eliminated from the play-offs, but on the sidelines, as always, a large host of celebrities watched the match. Among them were DiCaprio himself, with a mustache that has now become a hallmark of his for set reasons – he is in fact working on Martin Scorsese’s new film, “What Happens at Night,” with Jennifer Lawrence -, Penn, but also other names such as Jessica Alba and Odessa A’zion, one of the hottest faces on the film scene at the moment.
