A new album in the midst of her “Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour.” Karol G isn’t one to rest on her laurels and continues to seek new heights to reach. A true global phenomenon, with over 2 million tickets sold in just 4 days, the Colombian artist released her seventh studio album today, “No Me Arrepiento De Sentir Tanto.” It’s a heartfelt, long-awaited album—and above all, one packed with mind-blowing collaborations. One surprise after another. Like Drake, who sings in Spanish on “Ahí,” or Karol, who for the first time sings a track entirely in English on “Still,” a track where her collaboration with Bruno Mars really stands out.
A new era that doesn’t overlook Karol’s record-breaking career, but rather elevates it and takes it to the next level. We’d already heard “Matadora,” which she debuted at the first official stop of her tour in Chicago in late July, and, even before that, “Después de ti,” a collaboration with Greg Gonzalez of the band Cigarettes After Sex at Coachella. These are signs that Karol G is dancing on top of the world with determination and absolute confidence in her journey, which has led her to put Latin music at the center of the music scene. But above all, she’s getting everyone dancing, in every corner of the globe.
And they’re sure to appreciate the new album, “No Me Arrepiento De Sentir Tanto.” An album designed to be experienced within one’s own personal universe, one that doesn’t put emotions on display but rather reveals them, allowing listeners to recognize themselves in the music and find comfort in the knowledge that they are never alone in what they feel. Somewhere between nostalgia and uncompromising freedom. Here, Karol explores songs that pay homage to the past—to who we once were, to loves we’ve known, and even to the pain that changes us irrevocably and that we carry with us for a long time. But somewhere, within that burden, an unexpected realization emerges: when everything has already fallen apart, there is nothing left to protect. In that space, fear begins to fade, and freedom quietly takes its place. A description that’s perhaps a bit poetic, but also true, of the music Karol G has given us—music that, once again, doesn’t tell her story, but the story of anyone who has experienced these things.
To bring all of this to life, the Colombian singer-songwriter assembled a creative team whose diverse musical backgrounds all contributed to a single emotional goal. The album was produced by Cashmere Cat, Edgar Barrera, Greg Gonzalez, Oklou, Omar Fedi, Ovy On The Drums, Sky Rompiendo, Taiko, Tainy, Thomas LaRosa, and Tyler Spry, with songwriting contributions from Bruno Mars, Drake, Edgar Barrera, Isabel LaRosa, Judeline, KAROL G, Keityn, Pete Astudillo, Rios, and Rusowsky. These worlds intertwine and have given rise to 14 songs. In addition to “Ahí” featuring Drake, “Still” featuring Bruno Mars, “Después de ti” featuring Greg Gonzalez, and “Matadora”—as we mentioned earlier—there are also “Te Llevas To,” “Maybe,” “Bebiendo Lágrimas,” “Final Feliz,” “Alguien que te amaba,” and finally “For u My Lova,” “Si lo ven,” “Bby WOW” (feat. Judeline, Rusowsky), “Con quién andará?” and “Eclipse.”
This music will also be featured in the coming months as part of the “Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour,” Karol G’s largest live production, which continues its journey around the world through North America before making stops in Latin America and, later, in Europe as well. This includes Italy, the destination for the highly anticipated concert at Milan’s San Siro Stadium on July 24, 2027.
