From Demi Moore to Anne Hathaway: the Oscars 2026 red carpet never disappoints

It’s Oscar night, and the film world has gathered at the Dolby Theatre in LA to find out who will be the award-winners tonight. Among the guests Rose Byrne, nominated for Best Actress for If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, wears a black Dior column dress, with floral embroidery also decorating the hems. Chase Infiniti of One Battle After Another chooses a lilac Louis Vuitton custom dress, with an American sweetheart neckline and mermaid skirt with ruffles and a Y2K-style train.

Bruna Marquezine wore a strapless dress with a slinky silhouette in shimmering silver-gray, while Odessa A’zion sported a black kimono dress with precious embroidery, with a plunging neckline revealing her body and fringed lace-up choker detail at the hem.

Hudson Williams, star of Heated Rivalry, wears a total black Balenciaga tailoring suit with Bvlgari jewel brooch. Arón Piper a classic double-breasted suit with white jacket and black pants matching bow tie and jeweled brooch. Lewis Pullman wears a tailoring suit with striped shirt and tie.

Stylist Low Roach goes all in on the jacket, which is long and has gold baroque prints and a depiction of a holy picture on the side. He completes it with black tailored pants, bow tie and a new haircut. Renate Reinsveen, nominated for Best Actress for Sentimental Value, wears a Louis Vuitton minimal silhouette dress, flaming red, with a wide side slit and asymmetrical length, and completes the look with Giuseppe Zanotti sandals. Barbie Ferreira a Klein blue-colored classic gown by Gap Studio, with a square-neck corset and wide button-front skirt, while Heidi Klum sports a strapless column dress in powder-colored sheer fabric fully decorated with sparkling embroidery and pearls.

If all eyes were on the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, the credit also goes to Demi Moore. Watchword for her look? Plumage. The actress embraced one of the most seen trends of the last few catwalk seasons, with a slinky column dress with a structured neckline by Gucci, completely made with a plumage effect in shades of raven and deep green.

Manu Rios wears an office-core look with a striped shirt and tie and tailored black wide pants. Audrey Nuna sports a dress with a maxi skirt and structured bustier jacket decorated with a shower of gold sequins and sparkling buttons. Spike Lee wears a white look with tan tweed jacket, black bow tie and purple fedora hat.

The best of cinema in one night, we said. With this premise, Jessie Buckley’s presence at the 98th Academy Awards ceremony, winner for Best Actress in a Chanel chiffon confection pink gown for Hamnet, is unquestionable. So was Emma Stone’s in Louis Vuitton, with an outfit that can be summed up in three words: minimal, moody and sparkling. Thanks to the Louis Vuitton dress with clean lines, which leaves the back completely uncovered, while the texture is shimmering and iridescent. Or like that of bridal-inspired Elle Fanning and Zoe Saldana.

There is Nicole Kidman, who wore a powder pink column dress by Chanel, with a structured corset design hyper decorated with rhinestones, stones and plumage effect hems. The skirt, which seems to follow an essential silhouette, explodes in lengths, with special details in precious marabou feathers.

Black & white for Teyana Taylor, in a Chanel signature gown that certainly did not go unnoticed, thanks to a sheer fabric corset embellished with shimmering appliqués and a long skirt with a decidedly monumental train, made of black and white hairy effect fabric. To complete the outfit, a precious diamond necklace by Tiffany & Co.

Kate Hudson wears a teal sequin mermaid dress with a distinctive sweetheart neckline silhouette and column design by Armani Privé. She completes with Garatti diamond jewelry, while Goldie Hawn sports a slinky black dress with shimmering silver embroidery and long gloves.

It is the night of couples. Like the one formed by Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra, or Kirsten Dunst with Jesse Plemons. Or even the one formed by Gracie Abrams and Paul Mescal. The former with a Chanel signature total look in shades of midnight blue, with midnight blue sparkling details, sparkling sequin crop top and straight long skirt, completing it all with a light black chiffon scarf that she wears around her neck and lets slip down her back. The second, however, with a signature Celine look, rewriting the rules of the classic men’s suit with a black dress and a thin ribbon knotted around the neck.

Surprising Pedro Pascal, without a beard, also in black & white, as well as Timothée Chalamet, in a classic total white Givenchy suit.

The Marty Supreme actor was joined in the theater again this year by his partner Kylie Jenner, who sported a Jessica Rabbit-inspired dress. The entrepreneur chose a custom gown by Schiaparelli by Daniel Roseberry, a slinky dress emphasizing the curves of the body and featuring a plunging neckline with a keyhole cut-out detail, a design we had also seen her wear in the past but in a silver version. She completes it with a guarantee of contemporary jewelry: diamonds by Lorraine Schwartz.

Also impeccable was Michael B. Jordan, the evening’s star performer with the Best Actor statuette, who reinterpreted the concept of classic masculine tailoring through an elegant but not obvious look by Louis Vuitton. The jacket features an oriental-inspired cut with front buttons, while the waistband pants are embellished with a gold chain.

But also Leonardo DiCaprio, wearing a classic black suit with bow tie and a jeweled bee brooch, signed Dior. As well as Adrien Brody, Channing Tatum and Jacob Elordi, who played the quintessential total black classic suit, complete with bow tie, by Bottega Veneta, accompanied by his mother. But what about Mia Goth, with asymmetrical draping and embroidered lace in total white, wearing a Dior look somewhere between gothic bride and timeless romance.

Also appreciated was Anne Hathaway, in a strapless Valentino night gown in black velvet, with a slinky silhouette and long train at the back.

The dress is embellished with oriental-flavored floral prints and embroidery in delicate shades of peachy pink, and is complemented by a waist belt and long black velvet gloves, as well as diamond jewelry. The actress starred in an irreverent moment with Anna Wintour.

So did Gwyneth Paltrow, in a seemingly minimal Armani Privé creation: a white satin strapless dress with clean lines that unexpectedly reveals both sides of the body through the use of a sheer, shimmering fabric.
