Ferrari Luce: Maranello’s electric dream is ready to debut

Ferrari has innovation in its DNA and now aims to redefine the very concept of luxury supercar. It does so with its first electric, Luce, anticipated by a teaser shared on Instagram and, according to several rumors also reported by Hypebeast, ready to make its official debut in Rome in the coming months.

Every element of the design was designed to provide a driving experience that is at once intuitive, functional and highly engaging. The collaboration with Jony Ive, Marc Newson and the LoveFrom creative collective was born out of a shared dialogue about the future, but also out of a deep admiration for Ferrari’s heritage. The result is a cockpit that breaks with convention: the instrument panel is organized according to clear principles, with controls and displays grouped logically and essential controls positioned directly in the driver’s field of vision.

The three-spoke steering wheel, made of billet milled aluminum, is distinguished by its essential and highly recognizable design. Considered the main point of contact between the driver and the car, it integrates well-separated analog control modules designed for maximum ergonomics and immediacy of use.

And then there is the price, which confirms the ultra-exclusive positioning of the model: about $823,000, again according to the portal. A figure that projects the Luce among the most expensive and desirable Ferraris ever, destined to become a new status symbol in the global automotive scene.
