EssilorLuxottica Soars: Record First Half with Revenue Up 5.7%

Six months of 2026 to remember. EssilorLuxottica is celebrating its excellent first-half results, which have also been met with a positive response from the stock market. This is reported by *Corriere della Sera*, which details the Italian-French company’s clearly positive figures. The group, explains the Via Solferino-based newspaper, closed the first half of the year with revenue up 5.7% to 14.8 billion euros, despite global economic challenges.

Much of the credit goes to a second quarter marked by strong growth, resulting in total revenue of 7,692 million, up 7.2%, as well as adjusted operating income of 2.75 billion (+8.7%) and net income of 1.92 billion (+6.9%).

These encouraging figures show that Europe and North America are among the main markets, but also reveal strong growth in Latin America and Asia. One of the key factors behind EssilorLuxottica’s success is undoubtedly its ongoing innovation and the new AI Glasses, which have given the business a further boost.

In fact, *Il Corriere* explains that sales of the group’s smart glasses nearly doubled in the second quarter compared to the same period last year. But that’s not all. The company’s portfolio of lenses for myopia management also reported a 24% increase in revenue in the second quarter, confirming the comprehensiveness of its product offering.
