It is the invisible thread that links the past and the present and that last night, against the timeless backdrop of the Ancient Theater of Taormina, inspired the third installment of Dolce&Gabbana’s Haute Couture collection, dedicated to men’s haute couture. An intense tribute to *Cavalleria Rusticana*, Giovanni Verga’s Verismo masterpiece set to the music of Pietro Mascagni, which transformed the theater into a late-19th-century Sicilian town square, where farmers, fishermen, cart drivers, shepherds, and nobles shared the same stage, blurring the line between performance and reality. Velvets, linens, silks, exquisite embroidery, and impeccable silhouettes engage with the power of tradition, offering a vision of elegance born from the encounter between folk culture and nobility, between theatricality and artisanal precision. Each creation holds a story; every detail celebrates knowledge passed down through the generations, transforming the garment into a symbol of character, pride, and timeless beauty.
Among the guests, Theo James embodied the understated charm of black with a double-breasted linen blazer, wide-leg wool pants, and a crêpe de chine shirt. Michele Morrone chose a sophisticated burgundy double-breasted blazer, paired with an ecru linen shirt, black pants, and exquisite jewelry. Erling Haaland surprised everyone with a double-breasted silk twill suit in shades of ivory, accessorized with a shirt featuring a scarf and a frog-shaped jewelry brooch, while Sander Berge opted for a black silk twill suit.
Alongside them, Ruth Kearney embodied sophisticated femininity in black lace and the iconic Sicily Bag. Isabel Haugseng Johansen shone in a tulle gown embroidered with crystals and teardrop-shaped beads, while Julie Karlsen wore a long black tulle gown. A celebration of the most authentic Sicily, where theater meets fashion and haute couture becomes cultural heritage. Once again, Dolce&Gabbana reminds us that true elegance always stems from one’s roots.
