Demi Lovato in NYC prepares to unveil her new cookbook, One Plate at a Time

Singer, actress and now also. cook. In fact, among the myriad facets of Demi Lovato’s career has recently been added the skill of a writer, which the Camp Rock star has chosen to delve into by producing a new cookbook entitled One Plate at a Time.

Presented at the “Conversation with Eli Rallo” event, Demi to talk about the book at 92NY chose to wear a black leather jacket with a waist belt, over a white dress with asymmetrical lengths and black leather slim sandals.

Extremely personal and aimed at celebrating the joy of being in the kitchen, this new release chronicles Demi Lovato’s culinary journey, which began when the singer was in her late 30s. “After years of struggling with a problematic relationship with food, she found that learning to cook-and thus truly nourish herself on a mind, body and spirit level-was a revelation,” said the author herself as stated in the book’s official synopsis. Indeed, it was through cooking that, by experimenting with flavors, connecting with loved ones and channeling her creativity in a new way, Demi was able to bring to life a collection of more than eighty recipes, all created to celebrate pleasure over perfection.

In fact, there will be no complicated ingredient lists or difficult execution techniques in the book, just a collection of dishes that are as simple as they are memorable, within the reach of anyone who wants to get into the kitchen.

Moreover, spotted on the streets of New York City also on the day of the presentation, the Disney Channel star also sported a total black leather look, featuring a slim silhouette stud with contrasting white lace hems and Pencil skirt with a slit.
