Brioni Maestria: When Personalization Reaches Its Peak

After presenting its Fall/Winter 2026-27 collection last January as a captivating Grand Tour through Italy—an imaginary journey through Rome, Abruzzo, and the places that symbolize the House’s identity—Brioni is now taking another step forward in its quest to celebrate sartorial excellence.

To mark the launch of its Spring/Summer 2027 Men’s Collection, the Rome-based brand is introducing Brioni Maestria, a project that represents a true evolution of the brand’s philosophy. While in recent seasons Brioni has celebrated its heritage through the Italian landscape, culture, and that Roman “sprezzatura” that has defined its aesthetic language for eighty years, today it chooses to focus on the individual and his uniqueness.

Brioni Maestria was created as the ultimate expression of the Maison’s savoir-faire, expanding the concept of personalization far beyond the traditional made-to-measure suit to encompass every category of the men’s wardrobe, from shirts to knitwear, from footwear to small leather goods. The project unfolds through two distinct yet complementary paths: on the one hand, the established Made-to-Measure service, which allows garments to be personalized through a selection of fine fabrics and exclusive details. On the other, a Haute Couture offering that takes personalization to its pinnacle, giving life to one-of-a-kind creations tailored to the specific needs and desires of each individual client.

The experience is enriched by a wide range of customizable options: buttons, linings, color combinations, and technical specifications become elements through which the customer can actively participate in the creative process. The goal is to transform the act of choosing a garment into a true experience—a deeply personal journey. The Brioni Maestria presentation is part of the Men’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection, which celebrates the Maison’s sartorial heritage and the timeless charm of Rome. The Eternal City serves as a source of inspiration through a color palette that interprets its atmospheres and landscapes: from Rosso Roma to eucalyptus green, from travertine beige to column white, passing through Trevi blue, midnight blue, and shades of coral. Color, which has always been a distinctive element of Brioni’s stylistic language, this season captures the lifestyle of the Roman gentleman—amid the streets of the historic center, the golden light of the Appian Way, the elegance of the Riviera, and the charm of summer evenings.

Looking at the latest collections, it’s clear that Brioni is exploring the same concept of elegance from different perspectives: first, the story of the region and its roots; then, the centrality of the man wearing those garments. Brioni Maestria represents the intersection of these two dimensions. The collection also reaffirms the Maison’s core values: innovation, absolute quality, and tailoring that seamlessly blends formality with lightness. Each garment is designed to fit the body like a second skin, maintaining that balance between tradition and modernity that is the brand’s hallmark.

The silhouettes are inspired by the natural elegance of Italian style icons such as Marcello Mastroianni and Gianni Agnelli. Among the most iconic pieces is the Soffio jacket—a double-breasted, unlined design crafted from lightweight nubuck with gold buttons—alongside a version made from Zefiro fabric, a refined blend of silk, cashmere, and linen, paired with a Trama knit polo shirt. For leisure wear, the Maison offers a suede blouson with alligator-effect nubuck details and the iconic Vagabond overshirt in cashmere and suede, a perfect blend of structure and casual ease. Rounding out the collection are an unlined wool-and-linen safari jacket, to be worn over a striped shirt, and the Travel Jacket in lightweight Hopsack wool with alligator-effect nubuck details.

Finally, the Plume suit in Prince of Wales check embodies the essence of Roman elegance, paired with a striped shirt and a tricot tie. Among this season’s new arrivals is a reinterpretation of an archive model: the new Footglove lace-up shoe, which enriches the Maison’s footwear collection. With Brioni Maestria, the brand reaffirms its pioneering spirit, transforming bespoke luxury into an increasingly exclusive, personal, and contemporary experience.

To celebrate the launch of Brioni Maestria and the presentation of the Men’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection, on the evening of Saturday, June 20, the Maison welcomed distinguished guests to the halls of Palazzo Senato in Milan for an exclusive event followed by a private dinner. Among those in attendance were Italian actor Alessio Lapice, international actors Cesar Domboy, William Abadie, and Aurélien Muller, along with American comedian and impersonator Matt Friend and actor Matt Bomer—all friends of the House and stars of the evening dedicated to Brioni’s sartorial excellence.
