Billie Eilish is Justin Bieber’s real “One Less Lonely Girl”

To love Justin Bieber madly. Perhaps it is a concept we know too much about, because among the millions of “victims” of the fascination of that child who became an adult quickly – and an icon even earlier – there may be many among those who are reading these lines. But try to think if, among those millions, there were someone who today is another planetary star. We are fresh off the last weekend of Coachella 2026, but our minds may still be in the Valley. Not only because of the FOMO or the vibes we felt thousands of miles away, but also because one moment, specifically, stole our hearts. The one that featured Billie Eilish. Because the person we were just talking about is her.

Madly in love with JB since she was a child herself. Young prodigy, too, like Bieber. But still a fan, even today, despite everything. But most of all authentic, true “One Less Lonely Girl.” Famous song that Bieber played on Saturday in his – now cult – medley from his MacBook, with her practically thrown on stage and found herself in tears, as emotional as if there was her little self being photographed from her bedroom in a room plastered with posters dedicated to him.

Kind of like us in her place, but with a difference: that there are endless relics of Billie, which in the last few hours have been exhumed, such as when, still very small, she expressed concern that she might fall in love with someone other than Justin. Or like when, in 2019, somewhat surprisingly, again at Coachella, she met her legend, with whom among other things she collaborated on the remix of “bad guy,” where Justin sang over Billie’s famous hit. A teenage love, then brotherly. Like the protectiveness Justin feels toward Billie, expressed in an interview with Apple, in which he spoke from the heart about his success as a teenager and how much he wants to be of help to his young colleague: “If she ever needs me, I’ll be here for her,” he said tearfully. Tears that this time gave way to joy and a bond that transcends everything.
