Aperol celebrates its origins and opens the doors of Casa Aperol in Padua on May 8

A welcoming home open to all to celebrate an all-Italian story that represents so much more. The protagonist could only be the symbolic brand of the Italian aperitif in the world, which has made the Spritz not only a beloved drink, but a global icon. We are talking about Aperol, which has decided to celebrate its origins with an exciting new project that will take place in a city fulcrum of its history. We are talking about “Casa Aperol,” an immersive space dedicated to the brand’s history that will open on Friday, May 8, 2026 in Padua. The city that in 1919 saw the birth of the brand, which was able to transform a color, namely the iconic orange, into a universal language capable of uniting anyone.

It’s Fruit Square, in fact, the location chosen by Aperol where, from 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 8 onward, it will bring to life consumer engagement activities, music and fun. If it is true that no place is like “home,” Aperol has definitely taken this saying literally. How? By opening its doors to all Paduans, to whom it has dedicated this initiative, in what promises to be a space for storytelling and sharing, tracing the brand’s history through to its continued evolution in the industry. Casa Aperol will be open Thursday through Saturday throughout the months of May and June, aiming to pay homage to the area and its community, strengthening the relationship through design, culture and entertainment.

A secret recipe unchanged over time, a name that has become legend, the intuition of two brothers that still represents avant-garde. At the center of Casa Aperol there will of course be a protagonist: the new Aperol bottle, which represents the perfect balance between heritage and modernity, with a new elegant design in which not only the iconic orange – typical of Aperol – stands out, but also the details that tell of the link with Padua, paying homage to the brothers Luigi Barbieri and Silvio Barbieri, who had the illumination over 100 years ago. But also a busy calendar of activities. For example, the brand’s new space will involve the heterogeneous collective of Paduan illustrators, graphic designers and creatives, The Padovaner, whose creations have not only reinterpreted the city’s identity, but have also inspired an exclusive line of merch, available precisely at Casa Aperol.

But there will also be activities involving the public, such as quizzes and experiential activities inspired by the city, as well as a first-rate music schedule. Such as what will happen on Friday, May 8, 2026, on opening day, when Fruit Square will also be enlivened by an evening DJ set with special guests. Chronicle of an unbreakable bond, representing just one of the many projects that will see Aperol celebrate “its” Padua, not only in every Spritz but also directly in the city starting Friday, May 8, 2026.
