Between The Devil Wears Prada 2 and Mother Mary Anne Hathaway is in the midst of promotion, and in the last few hours, she also took part in The Late Show With Stephen Colbert in New York City to talk about her latest work projects and more.
Arriving at the television studios in the Big Apple, the actress chose to sport an archival look: a Versace mini dress from the fall/winter 1991 collection. Sweetheart neckline and velvet inserts, the dress features gold buttons on the front for an opulent and sophisticated effect. The Pretty Princess star then completes it with black patent leather maxi platforms with ankle straps.
Speaking with the host about the reboot of the iconic film in which she is once again starring alongside Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci, the actress said that returning to the set together with the original cast was very special and fun. The love for the characters, for the audience devoted to them and for the group itself, drove everyone to participate, Anne says, resulting in a kind of reunion like that of a band coming back together for the making of a new album.
As for Mother Mary, on the other hand, available starting next April 17, 2026, the actress is set to take on the role of a pop star who, after abandoning her music tour following an existential crisis, will go in search of a stylist from the past who helped build her image.
