Fresh from the last edition of the Met Gala-where he walked the red carpet alongside Beyoncé and daughter Blue Ivy Carter, inevitably attracting the attention of those in attendance-Jay-Z returned to his daily commitments in the New York setting of Manhattan. Spotted outside the Roc Nation studios, the rapper treated himself to fans and onlookers, stopping to sign autographs and exchange a few greetings.
For the occasion, the artist focused on essential elegance with understated taste: a classically cut black suit consisting of blazer and matching pants, worn casually over a basic white tee. Further defining the look was a black silk scarf with ton sur ton polka dots, slim-line sunglasses and a black beanie under which a knotted durag can be glimpsed at the nape of the neck, a detail that adds an urban twist.
