For Hermès customers, 2027 could mean further price increases for handbags, accessories, and other products from the brand. According to a report by MFF, the French fashion house is preparing to raise its prices again next year.
Hermès Executive Chairman and CEO Axel Dumas and Chief Financial Officer Eric du Halgouët confirmed this forecast during the conference call on the company’s second-quarter financial results. The company’s pricing strategy will continue to be driven primarily by rising costs: according to management, the next price increase will reflect higher raw material prices, inflation, and the production costs incurred in manufacturing products in France.
The increase, however, is expected to be smaller than the one introduced in early 2026, even though the fashion house has not yet specified the extent of the increase or provided details on which products will be most affected; nevertheless, this new price adjustment confirms a strategy that has become well-established in the luxury sector in recent years.
In terms of results, Hermès’s second quarter closed with sales up to 4.1 billion euros, confirming the company’s strength.
