Emma Stone is back on set—this time directed by Dave McCary—for a new rom-com titled *The Catch*, whose plot and characters are still shrouded in mystery. One thing, however, is already certain: she’ll be starring alongside Chris Pine, a casting choice that further heightens anticipation for the film, which is set to hit theaters on May 21, 2027.
We still don’t know much about the characters, but judging by the first glimpses, something seems to be emerging already. And Emma Stone’s character seems to have all the hallmarks of a “good girl” with an instantly recognizable wardrobe: a white shirt under a knit vest, straight-leg jeans, classic loafers, and a brown suede shoulder bag.
