Sanremo 2027: Stefano De Martino announces that the kermesse will be held from February 16 to 20

In February, during the evening that marked the end of the 76th Sanremo Festival, the host and artistic director of the kermesse Carlo Conti had decided to carry out a symbolic passing of the baton directly from the stage of the Ariston Theater. So, for the occasion, he had called next to him Stefano De Martino, announcing that it would be the young conductor who would take his place for Sanremo 2027.

Today, officially dressed in the shoes of his new role, with a new video posted on his Instagram profile Stefano De Martino himself announced the dates of the next Festival, which will be held from February 16 to 20, 2027.

“Tonight I have a great honor: for the first time in Sanremo I can officially announce to you that Stefano will be the host and artistic director of the next edition of the Festival,” Carlo Conti announced during the aforementioned special evening of the last Festival. “This is a gesture of generosity not taken for granted on your part, I want to thank Rai for the opportunity. And as we often say to each other on the phone when we hear each other: head down and pedal,” replied Stefano, visibly excited.

After the enormous success with Affari Tuoi, but also thanks to Stasera Tutto È Possibile, De Martino was in fact able to enter the homes and hearts of Italians. And it is in the sign of that affection that the host is therefore preparing to face this new challenge as well, the greatest of his career as of that of many presenters: that of guiding the most watched, loved – and also criticized – program of Italian music and television.
