Music and soccer come together in a collaboration celebrating one of the most influential artists on the contemporary Japanese scene.In fact, adidas has chosen Ado to star in a special edition of the Japanese national team’s 2026 jersey.
The design takes inspiration from the creative theme “HORIZON,” the basis of the team’s visual identity, while the aesthetics of the kit recall the profile of the horizon and Japan’s connection to the sea, reinterpreting the iconic Samurai Blue color through graphic details with a contemporary flavor.
What distinguishes this version from the official jersey is the inclusion of elements related to the artist’s imagery. A large blue rose, a symbol that has long represented Ado, stands out on the chest, while the back features the flag of Japan and a graphic depicting his avatar wearing the national team’s home uniform.
The result is a combination of sports, music, and pop culture that pays tribute to both the team and the singer. The jersey will be available in Japan from June 8, 2026 on the adidas Japan website at a price of 18,700 yen, or about $117.
