Last night, Wednesday, May 20, 2026, the Croisette in Cannes once again lit up for a red carpet that, as usual, preceded the screening of a new film. In this case it was The Man I Love, a film by Ira Sachs starring Rami Malek and Tom Sturridge, which, as on every night of the kermesse, was attended by numerous guests ready to attend the premiere.
As always a style icon on and off the red carpet, Alexa Chung was also not absent who, for the occasion, wore a total look by Dior by Jonathan Anderson: a dress that perfectly reflects the romantic yet highly tailored and experimental vision of the creative director.

The model and influencer’s chosen dress is an ice-blue and navy blue silhouette with a deep neckline and a relaxed draping effect that takes us back to the 1930s, closed in the center with a soft bow. The very long skirt, on the other hand, is a mix of ruffles and precious embroideries that play with effect transparencies. The hairstyling chosen by Alexa is also a tribute to the 1930s, with soft waves and side parting.
Set in the vibrant New York City of the late 1980s, The Man I Love follows the story of Jimmy George-an inner-city performance artist played by Malek-in an extraordinary moment between serious illness and death, when, still, all beauty and love are possible.
