Cycling as a religion (even among celebrities)

Some have taken it once in a while, some have their own of the heart, some have a regular subscription to one of the many sharing services. Little does it matter, what is certain is that celebrities also have a passion for cycling. Like us? Like us. Gee, what a discovery, they are people too, you will say. We know. But in the many reports we happen to see every day, it is curious to note that the preferred means of transportation for the world’s biggest stars, round and round, is that. The bicycle. Electric or regular. In the city or for an outing. We happened a few days ago to see the legendary Hugh Jackman riding around New York City, complete with helmet, aboard one of the many behemoths available in the city. And this is not the first time.

Mens sana in corpore sano. Is that what they say? The truth is, let’s be honest, riding a bike in the middle of traffic is comfortable. Let alone now with gasoline skyrocketing. No, no, no, let’s not get into political discourse. But the bicycle can also create remarkable aesthetic imagery. As the good John Fitzgerald Kennedy Jr. knew, who never got off his bike. Or like Harry Styles, who in his private life rides around London or Rome on two wheels. There are those like Harrison Ford who prefer racing bikes, and those like Arnold Schwarzenegger who have off-road wheels on his bolide.

And then Jennifer Lawrence, Justin Bieber, Leonardo DiCaprio, JLo, Kendall Jenner. Recently or in the past, such as Madonna, who repeatedly opted for two wheels. Because in the end there is nothing to be done: there is nothing more comfortable. And as a fake ad to incentivize bicycle use, perhaps many of them might agree with this phrase: more bike lanes and less red carpet. The only one who might disagree, perhaps, is TimothĂ©e Chalamet, who in the past few months, during the Marty Supreme photoshoot, arrived by bicycle himself. How to combine pleasure with work….
