Once destined for evening footwear, today satin has also achieved its definitive consecration in everyday use. It may be thanks to its romantic and in some ways retro allure, its iridescent texture that manages to embellish even the most minimal or simple looks, its softness and for that velvety touch of exclusivity, the fact is that satin has conquered the fashion world, and shoes thank. We have seen it starring on flat shoes and ballerinas with clear references to the world of ballet, on pumps and pump shoes in luxurious colors worthy of a queen, but also on sneakers, such as those of Miu Miu and Dries Van Noten, just to give two examples, definitively clearing the perception of sportswear as obligatorily strong, but giving it a new patina of delicacy that has nothing to lose in terms of comfort.
The shades? From pastel ones such as candy pink, sage green, sky blue and soft yellow to more sober colors and intense nuances such as chocolate brown and pearl gray.
