BTS: boyband launches merch dedicated to new album “Arirang”

More than a boyband, a cultural phenomenon with international reach. We are talking about BTS, the world’s most famous South Korean K-pop group, which is preparing to release its highly anticipated new album, “Arirang,” on March 20, 2026. An album that marks a comeback in a big way after more than three years and a nine-month hiatus. The album contains 14 tracks focusing on themes of connection, identity and gratitude, inspired by traditional Korean chanting. So a way to pay homage to the culture of origin that will also be celebrated through merchandising of the album, thanks to exclusive collaborations that aim to reinterpret the pillars of traditional culture in a contemporary key.

Through a special collaboration with the National Museum of Korea and MU:DS Global, the album merchandise features pieces inspired by King Seongdeok’s Sacred Bell, including traditional hair clips, layered skirts, fans, and card holders. A perfect mix of the national treasures and identity themes from the “Arirang” album but made eye-catching and thoroughly modern through minimalist design. The full lineup, which includes hoodies, caps and BTS’s new light stick, will be available at two pop-up stores in Seoul: the Shinsegae department store and HYBE headquarters. The event will be held from March 20 to April 12.
