A$AP Rocky: new HOMMEMADE launch includes a $300,000 recording room

Although officially launched in 2022, A$AP Rocky’s interior design line HOMMEMADE gained definitive recognition only two years later, at Design Miami 2024. At the time, the presentation caused a stir precisely because of the Galaxy line, featuring a series of truly exclusive furniture and interior design accessories. Now the offering looks set to be further enriched, and the rapper and creative director did not disappoint this time either.

Despite recently being quite busy between the launch of his album DON’T BE DUMB, the creative direction of Ray-Ban, and the all-around management of his AWGE brand, Rocky continues not to stop, not even when it comes to furniture. Indeed, on HOMMEMADE’s official Instagram profile, a series of posts have been published that take us straight to the brand’s new products, complete with details and prices.

And so we start with the most important and expensive piece in the entire range, namely the CBNT V.1, a true state-of-the-art recording studio equipped with Pro Tools and Ableton, compatibility with 8-track, VHS, DVD and CD recorders, exposed analog reels, a TV, a Macintosh computer and wheels for easy setup. The styling evokes the space-age atmospheres of a spaceship and thus perfectly in line with the rest of the Galaxy line, which plays with urban panoramas with a futuristic flavor. Its cost? Well, practically equal to real estate, or $300,000.

Then we have a carpet that somehow also pays homage to Made in Italy. It is in fact a carpet made in collab with Gufram, in Alba, Italy, although its texture is a reproduction from above of the New York skyline. The rapper is already on his second collaboration with the historic Italian design brand and says he is definitely inspired by this creative partnership. The price of the rug is $18,000. Complementing the latter is the $13,500 Skyline divider, which elevates the cityscape to the next level with imposing skyscrapers arranged in folding panels. Lighting also includes two high-end pieces, the $50,000 Satellamp 1 and the $35,000 Satellamp 2, to be hung from the ceiling in imitation of satellites orbiting the Earth.

It is very provable that after Miami, Rocky will choose to present its new HOMMEMADE collections at key trade fairs in the design world, such as at NYCxDesign or Design Week in Milan. But at the moment we have no definite information about this.
