LVMH continues to invest in strengthening Sephora, Europe’s leading beauty retailer launched in 1996. Indeed, the group led by Bernard Arnault has appointed Sylvia Tournery as president of Sephora Collection: the former deputy global general manager of Lanc\u00f4me will be asked to lead the next phase of the brand’s development and growth. <\/p>\n\n

With nearly two decades of experience in the beauty industry, Tournery has built her career path dealing with brand development and international expansion at companies such as Biotherm and Lanc\u00f4me. In her new position, she will report to Guillaume Motte, president and CEO of Sephora as well as a member of the LVMH executive committee. His mandate will focus on accelerating product innovation and strengthening the brand’s appeal on a global scale, further consolidating Sephora Collection’s strategic role within the retailer’s offering. “I am excited to support the brand’s next chapter of growth,” Tournery said on LinkedIn, commenting on the new assignment. “Sephora Collection is a unique brand with which many of us have a special emotional connection. I look forward to strengthening its leadership in product innovation and continuing to create a brand experience that will inspire consumers around the world.” <\/p>\n\n

It can definitely be said that in recent years Sephora has established itself as one of the most significant assets of the LVMH empire. The retailer is part of the Selective Retailing division, which in 2025 reported revenues of 18.35 billion euros and an operating profit of 1.78 billion. According to beauty industry analysts’ estimates, Sephora would now account for between 90 percent and 95 percent of the division’s business, implying revenues attributable to the retailer of between 17.5 billion and 18 billion euros. “Together with our teams, Sylvia will further accelerate product leadership and strengthen the desirability of Sephora Collection on a global scale,” Guillaume Motte was quoted by MFF<\/a> as saying. “Her deep experience in the beauty industry, strategic brand vision and proven leadership skills will be key assets to support Sephora Collection’s solid momentum.” <\/p>\n\n
