The world of watchmaking continues to fascinate more and more, but don’t think that it is only the classic wristwatch models that are the stars of this trend. Catching the eye today is an unexpected accessory: the watch-ring. Halfway between jewelry and watchmaking, this precious little object has its roots in the 18th century and, after experiencing a real boom in the 1990s and during the Y2K era, is ready to conquer the contemporary scene again. <\/p>\n\n

Already reinterpreted by historic maisons such as Rolex, Cartier, Casio, and Fossil, the ring watch is experiencing a new season thanks in part to contemporary brands, which make it more accessible and in line with current tastes. Prominent among them is Breda, which offers “fresh reinterpretations of the great classics,” blending vintage elegance and contemporary appeal. Not coincidentally, during New York Fashion Week fall 2026, its ring watches were featured in the fashion show of AKNVAS, the womenswear brand founded by Danish designer Christian Juul Nielsen, who has experience at Oscar de la Renta and Christian Dior. <\/p>\n\n
