“The largest and most comprehensive collection of vintage Cartier watches, assembled over decades, is coming to Sotheby’s.” With this message posted on its Instagram page, the auction house announced The Shapes of Cartier: The Finest Vintage Grouping Ever Assembled, an auction that will give buyers the chance to take home more than 300 of the French maison’s rarest and most sought-after models, including the beloved Crash, Octagonal, Bagnoire, and Pebble. <\/p>\n\n

For sale as part of the auctions enclosed under the Important Watches group, with a total estimate of about $15 million the watches will be available from Hong Kong to Geneva and New York between April and December. In fact, the first auction is scheduled for April 24 in the Chinese metropolis, followed by Geneva on May 10 and New York on June 15, 2026. <\/p>\n\n
