Billie Eilish is a woman of many talents. After bringing her latest tour to the big screen in “Hit Me Hard and Soft: the Tour”—a 3D documentary directed by James Cameron—the American singer-songwriter is temporarily stepping away from the stage and the microphone to take center stage in front of the camera. That’s right—she’s the lead in “The Bell Jar,” a film directed by Sarah Polley and based on the 1963 novel of the same name, with Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston’s Plan B Entertainment among the producers. Here she is on set tackling the film’s opening scenes—which also feature Carey Mulligan in the cast—while sporting a look inspired by the fashion of the early 1950s, the era in which Sylvia Plath’s novel is set, complete with a red short-sleeved sweater and a matching patterned circle skirt.
